Lily is a foreign affairs writer. Most often, her work can be found in the New Statesman and New Left Review. She is an associate of the Alameda Institute and is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Balkanist Magazine. She is from California and was previously a long-time resident of Belgrade, Serbia, but she now lives in Istanbul.
