About Lily Lynch:

Lily is a foreign affairs writer. Most often, her work can be found in the New Statesman and New Left Review. Her work can also be found in places like UnHerd, the Baffler, and Liberties. She is currently an Ideas Workshop fellow and an associate of the Alameda Institute. While living in Serbia, she co-founded Balkanist Magazine, and was also its editor-in-chief. She is from California and was previously a long-time resident of Belgrade, but she now lives in Istanbul.
